Who You Are

I work with young adults and women navigating anxiety, burnout, and life transitions—helping you understand what’s underneath the stress while building practical tools that support you so you can make the most of your one wild and precious life.

Therapy With Niku

I’m Niku Rice, a Licensed Master Social Worker with experience supporting adults through anxiety, burnout, and life transitions. My approach is conversational, thoughtful, and grounded in mindfulness, drawing from modalities such as CBT and ACT to help you better understand your thoughts, patterns, and reactions.

Clients describe me as calm, warm, and practical. I gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck, while offering perspective and tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life.

Our work will be collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in real life. Sessions are conversational and paced in a way that feels manageable, giving you space to explore what’s going on without pressure or judgment.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what’s next, therapy can be a space to slow down, get clarity, and move forward.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions in Michigan, providing flexibility based on what works best for you.

You don’t have to do this alone. If you’re ready for support, or even just curious about what this could look like, this is a place to start.

First sessions are low pressure and conversational. We will focus on understanding what’s going on and identifying where to start.
